Electrophysiology Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Salisbury, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8s, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Adults and geriatrics
- Local candidates accepted
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician with 2 years of experience
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT or RCIS
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to perform EKG lead placement
- ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with med experience
Schedule and Coverage
- 7 call days per month minimum
- Every third weekend required
- No float requirement
- No holiday RTO allowed
Unit Details
- Combo lab with IR, cardiology, vascular, and EP
- IR is the primary focus
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
- Medication administration is performed by RN only
Orientation and Training
- 40 hours of unit orientation
- Starts directly on the unit on Mondays until Dimensions training is completed

- Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System
- Bovi System, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit
- Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit
- IABP, Impella
