RN (Registered Nurse)

Shift
- Days, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
Unit Details
- Acute care unit with 14 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 on days and nights
- Primary care nursing
- Nurses do not read strips
- May float to acute care and cardio areas for medical patients or emergency department holds
- Does not take a patient assignment unless needed
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 2 years of specialty experience
- 1 travel assignment
- Experience with similar hospital acuity and a large, high-acuity, fast-paced organization
- Must be able to manage the stated patient ratios
