Description
Registered Nurse
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 26 weeks
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
Unit Overview
- Cardio thoracic unit
- 70 beds
- Patient population includes cardiac, pulmonary, and general medical overflow cases
Schedule
- Shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- No call or standby requirement at this time
- Floating to other general medical units is required
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- Ability to read and interpret EKGs
- Medication titration experience
- Ability to titrate drips
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Additional Notes
- Local placements within 50 miles are accepted
- Negative drug screen required
- Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
- Non-billable orientation is 12 hours
- Scrubs may be any color except children/cartoon prints
