RN - Neonatal Intensive Care
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Crown Point, Indiana
- Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12s
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No call required
- Float to postpartum when needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Preferred
- STABLE
- IV insertion
- Delivery room stabilization
- CPAP
- Ventilator experience
Unit Details
- NICU with 25 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:3
- Cares for patients of all gestational ages and acuity levels
Equipment
- Bubble CPAP
- Ventilators
- High-flow nasal cannula
- Feeding pump
- Breast pump
- Alaris IV pump
Work Environment
- Team-oriented and adaptable to changing patient assignments
- Hospital-issued scrubs required
