Description

RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

  • Bloomington, Illinois

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Nights
  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts

Unit Overview

  • Labor and delivery / alternate birthing center with postpartum and level II nursery patients
  • 12 LDRP rooms and 2 triage rooms
  • About 700 deliveries per year

Required Qualifications

  • Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • Skilled in labor and delivery

Schedule

  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday
  • No call or standby requirement

Responsibilities and Work Setting

  • Float hospital-wide as needed for tasking and team nursing
  • Charge nurse on each shift without a patient assignment
  • CPAP support in the level II nursery with respiratory therapy assistance for setup

Orientation

  • 2–3 shifts
  • 12 non-billable orientation hours

Additional Notes

  • Hospital-provided scrubs
  • Drug screen required
  • Requested time off must be submitted with the application
