CVICU Nurse

  • Day shift: 06:45 - 19:15

Role Summary

  • Critical care / cardiac critical care background required
  • Open heart recovery experience required
  • Post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • CVICU (2 years of experience)
  • CVICU experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIH Certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License
  • Background in Critical Care
  • Background in Cardiac Critical Care
  • Open heart recovery experience
  • Post cardiac procedure recovery experience

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

  • Signed assignment agreement
  • Pharmacology exam with a minimum score of 80%
  • Specialty exam with a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score
  • Core competencies exam with a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score
  • EKG exam with a passing score of at least 80%
  • Color vision screening
  • Nursing onboarding education attestation
  • Nursing contract worker onboarding completion onsite
