Operating Room Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Mount Vernon, Ohio
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call required once per week and every fourth weekend
• Holidays may be required
• Minimal to no requested time off
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Details

• RN Circulator in Surgery

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Background check required before start, including criminal history review and fingerprinting
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Drug screen required
• TB screening required
• Immunization/documentation requirements include measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, and flu documentation or approved exemption
• Orientation and facility policy acknowledgements required
• HealthStream modules must be completed after orientation
• Medication management forms must be reviewed and signed by RNs
