- Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Role Summary
- Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Communicates patient condition changes and diagnostic results to the physician
- Responsible for patient/family teaching and guiding other nursing personnel
- Expected to respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment response
- Knowledge of EMTALA regulations, abuse reporting, and patient privacy/confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- DCI/BVP
- Driver's License
- Nursys verification
- Completion of required onboarding exams and screenings
- 2 references, including 1 from a manager or direct leader/supervisor
- Resume
