Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Washington, DC
Emergency Department role
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
48 hours per week
Patient ratio: 1:4–5
Weekend requirement: every other weekend and holidays
No floating to like units
No on-call
Block scheduling not accommodated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

2 years of specialty experience

Compliance and Health Requirements

Physical exam
Fit testing within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation or declination
COVID vaccination required before start
Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season, unless an approved exemption is granted
Drug screen within the last 12 months
