Job Summary

Provides nursing care for ambulatory surgery patients, including assessment, medication administration, treatments, responding to alarms, assisting with transfers, and follow-up on medication changes and order clarifications.
Evaluates treatment effectiveness and helps update care plans with the care team.
Processes physician/provider orders and carries out ordered care accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
Pre/Post Op experience
Phase II experience
2+ years of RN experience
Work history skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to ambulatory specialty
2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
Permanent address outside the local radius restriction

Preferred Qualifications

Epic EMR experience
