Job Summary

  • Provides nursing care for ambulatory surgery patients, including assessment, medication administration, treatments, responding to alarms, assisting with transfers, and follow-up on medication changes and order clarifications.
  • Evaluates treatment effectiveness and helps update care plans with the care team.
  • Processes physician/provider orders and carries out ordered care accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
  • Pre/Post Op experience
  • Phase II experience
  • 2+ years of RN experience
  • Work history skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to ambulatory specialty
  • 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
  • Permanent address outside the local radius restriction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic EMR experience
