Job Overview

- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver's license
- Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 2 years of proven work and continuing education experience demonstrating mastery of doctorate-level knowledge
Role Summary
- Provides general physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients across a wide range of ages and diagnoses
- Develops, implements, supervises, and modifies therapy plans of care
- Works with inpatient and outpatient populations in various settings
- Oversees physical therapist assistants and other designated support staff
- Documents patient findings, treatment plans, recommendations, and prognoses
- Collaborates with the care team, patients, and families to support discharge planning, education, and home exercise programs
