Home Health RN

Job Overview

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Registered Nurse
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Schedule: Every 5th weekend required
Contract length: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

Home health nursing
Proficiency with PICC lines, ports, tracheostomy care, and PleurX
Patient education
Familiarity with Medicare guidelines related to home care
Completion of OASIS documentation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Home Health experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Proficiency with PICC lines
Proficiency with Port access
Proficiency with tracheostomy care
Proficiency with Pleurx catheters
Knowledge of Medicare guidelines related to home care
Experience with Epic
