Stepdown Intermediate Care RN
Overview
- Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Unit size: 22 beds
Schedule and assignment details
- No call required
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating as needed
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted; traveler must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

- CPI

- Charting system: Cerner PowerChart
- Background check required within 90 days of start
- Education verification or a copy of diploma/transcripts is required
- Physical exam required
- Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start is required

- Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required prior to start during flu season
