Echo/Vascular Tech
Location
Murray, Utah
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekends required
Job Summary
- Schedules and coordinates exams with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Prepares patients for exams, including identification, education, and transport
- Performs ultrasound exams, documents results, charges appropriately, and maintains equipment and supplies
- Supports patient safety, quality improvement, and staff education
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as an Echo-Vascular Technician
- Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
- ARDMS or CCI certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience using contrast agent and bubble echo
- Transesophageal echocardiogram experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adult transthoracic echocardiography
- Pediatric experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
