Interventional Technologist I
Location
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- 4x10 shifts
- On-call coverage on nights and weekends, approximately 8–10 shifts per month
Role Overview
Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and supports patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT
- Knowledge and skill in medical imaging principles, patient positioning, medical ethics, anatomy and physiology related to specialty imaging procedures, sterile field practices, HIPAA, and accurate documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize work, multitask, remain calm under stress, work collaboratively, and maintain accurate records
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
- ARRT(RT) certification required within 18 months of hire

- Assist providers during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
- Maintain a strict sterile field and support patient safety
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort
- Perform quality control, cleaning, disinfecting, and equipment maintenance
- Complete post-testing quality reviews and support quality assurance activities
- Provide on-call clinical coverage as assigned
- Support teaching, precepting, and onboarding when needed
