Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
Job Overview

- Schedule notes: No call required; block scheduling is not available
- Assignment note: Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required
Unit / Role Details
- Primarily cares for postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
- Floats to Labor & Delivery to support LDRP needs
- Does not include L&D triage or circulating responsibilities
- Antepartum and postpartum cross-training is expected
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Post Partum experience with 3 years of experience
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Antepartum experience
- Labor and Delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Antepartum experience
- EFM experience
Scheduling / Holiday Requirement
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Compliance / Onboarding Notes
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
- 2 clinical references required from the last 12 months
- Application/resume required
- Background check, education verification, and other standard onboarding/compliance items are required
- Physical exam required
- Fit testing required before start
- Tdap vaccination required
- Negative TB screening required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
