PACU RN Travel/Contract Job

Overview

Shift: Rotating days/nights, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per schedule cycle
Holiday requirement: Required as scheduled

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Clinical Details

Patient age range: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
Ratio: 1:4
Number of rooms/beds: 16
Common patient populations include orthopedic, neurology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, and gynecology

Work Expectations

Floating within the specialty is required
Floating with pre-op is required for this contract
Floating to a sister facility may also be required as needed

Additional Notes

On-call is not currently implemented
Navy blue scrubs are required
