Physical Therapist
Assignment Overview
- Travel position in Port Charlotte, Florida
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Inpatient physical therapy setting
- Acute care hospital with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Preferred Experience
- ICU experience
- Meditech experience
Schedule
- Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Unit Details
- Typical patient load is 9–10 patients per day
- Productivity standard is 75%
- Main equipment includes mobility equipment
- Typical duties include PT evaluation and treatment
Work Environment
- About 20 PT staff members
- Day shift coverage includes PT, OT, and SLP
- Collaborative, outgoing personality with strong communication skills is preferred
