Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Everett, Washington
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekends required
- Floating required to postpartum
- Call not required
- Locals not accepted
- RTO must be included at time of submittal
- Guaranteed hours: clinician may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- EFM
Unit Details
- High-risk perinatal care
- Level III unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU bays, and 7 triage bays
- Staffing includes 1:1 labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2–3 in antepartum
- Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift
- 3–4 delivering providers and 2 CRNAs are on site 24/7
- Candidates should ideally have experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries; 100–200 deliveries may also be considered

- Charting system: EPIC
- Parking is facility paid
