RN - OR
Overview
- Travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas
- Schedule options: 4x10s or 3x12s
- Shift time: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Preferred Experience
- Experience with DaVinci Robotics
- Orthopedic, neurology, and vascular experience
- Prior Meditech experience
Unit Details
- OR Surgery unit
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment includes DaVinci Robotics and Mako
- Procedures include orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, and MAKO
Scheduling Expectations
- One late night per week
- One 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week
- One 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday
- 30-minute response time required
