Cath Lab Tech

Location

  • Greensboro, North Carolina

Job Type

  • Travel/Contract

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • 4x10 hours
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Call required as needed
  • Float required during a COVID surge

Assignment Length

  • 13 weeks

Role Overview

  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Invasive cath procedures with cardiac interventions and related adjunct therapies
  • Typical volume: 25–35 procedures per day
  • Uses scrub and EKG skills
  • Diagnoses include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

  • RCIS or RCES

Additional Notes

  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • EPIC and XPER Witt are used for hemodynamic monitoring
