Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU - Surgical

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Titratable sedation management
• Titratable pressors management
• Titratable insulin management
• Ability to float across campuses within the same discipline
• Experience with Epic

Work Expectations

• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Must be comfortable floating across campuses if needed
• Traveler will be required to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Submission Requirements

• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission

Additional Notes

• Orientation schedule: 9/8 and 9/21
• Must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed is preferred
