Rad Tech
Location
- Lakewood, Colorado
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Evenings, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ARRT certification
- Ability to cover OR procedures with C-arms
- Level 1 Trauma experience
- Must submit a driver’s license
- Must be in state for the week of orientation
- Must provide a radiation badge through the agency
Work Setting / Duties
- General X-ray in Radiology
- Covers ED, inpatient, ortho, and spine in the OR
- May float within the listed zone if needed
Schedule / Coverage
- 24/7 coverage
- No self-scheduling
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time
Equipment / Systems
- Uses Epic and Fuji PACS
- Works with GE C-arms, Carestream and Shimadzu portables, and GE/Fuji general radiology rooms
Dress Code
- Hospital-provided blues
Additional Notes
- Department orientation includes equipment overview, tour, and Epic setup
- Daytime radiologist coverage is in-house; nights are remote
