Emergency Department RN Travel Job

Overview

  • Location: Kingwood, Texas
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
  • On-call: None

Unit Details

  • Unit: Emergency Department
  • Bed count: 28
  • Staffing: 10 RNs, 2–3 techs, and 1 unit secretary on both day and night shifts
  • Patient ratio: 4:1
  • EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • Acute ER experience
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trauma experience
