X-Ray Tech

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Mayfield Heights, Ohio
• 13-week assignment
• Evening schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Every other Saturday and Sunday
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
• Radiology Technologist (1.5 years of experience)
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Able to work holidays
• Able to take call if staying in the area
• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried while on assignment
• Background check required before start
• Education verification required
• State license verification required
• 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• 2 references within 1 year of start from a manager, ANM, supervisor, charge nurse, or director

Compliance and Onboarding

• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• BCI and FBI fingerprint results required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required
• Monthly HHS/OIG screening required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required annually
• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 6 months of start
• TB questionnaire required if there is a history of past positive TB testing
• Drug screen required
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III required for subcontractors

Work Expectations

• Must complete onboarding modules before start
• Must pick up badge from the facility before start
• Must be able to complete call shifts if assigned while staying in the area
