Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Physical therapy license/credential requirements are not explicitly stated in the source
- New graduates may be accepted if they have strong adult acute clinical experience, including trauma and critical care
- Must not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
- Copy of driver’s license required at submission to validate legal name on a government-issued ID
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Alternating weekends
- Comp day provided during the week for any weekend days worked
- Holidays are worked on an alternating basis
- Call is not required
Clinical Details
- Primary coverage is acute care
- May provide minimal coverage at another acute care hospital
- Expected workload: 1 completed evaluation per hour; if doing treatments, 10 completed treatments in an 8-hour shift
- May be asked to precept as needed
- Does not treat pediatric patients
Additional Notes
- Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
- Maroon scrubs required
- Orientation includes hospital, EMR, and procedures/protocols for 3 to 5 days depending on experience
- Rehab aides and PTAs are available on staff
