- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- No call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Trauma experience
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience
- Experience with Epic
- Willing to float to all med surg units/locations within Fargo as needed
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Inpatient oncology experience
- Hematology experience
- Bone marrow transplant experience
Work Setting
- Med-surg oncology unit
- May float to other med-surg units in Fargo as needed
Patient Population
- Medically complex hematology/oncology patients
- Patients receiving blood products, antibiotics, symptom/side effect management, and possibly chemotherapy
Unit Details
- 16 inpatient oncology beds on one unit
- 12 inpatient oncology beds on the hematology/bone marrow transplant-focused unit
Orientation
- 8 hours of classroom training
- 24–36 hours of unit training
Additional Notes
- Cannot accept travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
- Local travel rate applies to those living 60–80 miles away
- Clinicians must badge in and out
- Navy blue scrubs required
- If previously worked for the same health system, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
