    Occupational Therapist

    Job Overview

    • Location: Crescent City, California
    • Employment type: Travel/Contract
    • Contract length: 13 weeks
    • Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
    • Hours: 40 per week
    • Primary setting: Acute Rehab
    • May float to Acute Inpatient when census requires

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
    • Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
    • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

    Role Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and treat patients in the Acute Rehab department
    • Assess, plan, organize, and provide occupational therapy treatment to support vocational, homemaking, daily living, and independence goals
    • Complete patient evaluations, testing, documentation, and plan-of-care updates
    • Coordinate care with other providers and support team members
    • Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides
    • Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students

    Additional Requirements

    • Must maintain certification and complete required continuing education
    • Must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Must be able to work flexible shift assignments as needed
