Description

Registered Nurse (RN) — Med Surg/Telemetry

Location

  • Towson, Maryland

Schedule

  • Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Must be willing to work the facility’s schedule
  • Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted

Contract

  • 8 weeks
  • 24 hours unbillable
  • Overtime starts after 48 hours

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Stroke experience
  • Must be willing to complete 48-hour compliance if offered
  • Must be willing to take telemetry patients as needed
  • Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if offered
  • Must be willing to take mRs/SIREN certification within 48 hours if offered
  • Must be willing to take Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered

  • 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months
  • 1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months
  • Skills checklist specific to Med Surg
  • Cover page provided by the facility if needed
  • COVID vaccine documentation

Additional Notes

  • Locals accepted
  • Candidates may request off up to 1 week of contracted hours
  • Orientations may be scheduled up to 6 weeks out
