Medical Surgical Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Galion, Ohio
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Expectations

Must be willing to float to all campuses
Call required
Every other weekend
No holiday RTO will be approved for days during that week

Compliance / Onboarding

2 clinical references required
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination
Drug screen within 30 days of start
Fit mask testing required before start
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
Annual background check and annual updates for required health/compliance items
Annual competency and onboarding documentation required
