    Respiratory Therapist IV

    Location

    Bakersfield, California

    Schedule

    • Night shift
    • 12-hour shifts
    • 36 hours per week

    Contract Length

    • 13 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in California
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
    • 3 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
    • Experience in an Acute Care setting
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NRP

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide advanced respiratory therapy care, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, pulmonary function testing, aerosol and humidity therapy, and emergency response
    • Serve as a lead practitioner and help train staff and nursing personnel
    • Document care, maintain equipment, and support quality assurance activities
    • Work with patients across the lifespan, including newborns through geriatric patients
