Description

PACU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Location: Charleston, South Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
  • Weekend requirement: No
  • On-call: No
  • Floating: May be required to float within scope as needed
  • Start date: 9/21 start only

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Notes

  • Works Monday through Friday
  • No major holidays
  • Block scheduling is not accommodated

Additional Considerations

  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Radius rule applies: 60 miles
  • All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
  • Multiple time-off requests within the 13-week contract will be denied
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
