PACU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
- Weekend requirement: No
- On-call: No
- Floating: May be required to float within scope as needed
- Start date: 9/21 start only
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule Notes
- Works Monday through Friday
- No major holidays
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
Additional Considerations
- Local candidates are accepted
- Radius rule applies: 60 miles
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- Multiple time-off requests within the 13-week contract will be denied
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
