PACU Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
Weekend requirement: No
On-call: No
Floating: May be required to float within scope as needed
Start date: 9/21 start only

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Notes

Works Monday through Friday
No major holidays
Block scheduling is not accommodated

Additional Considerations

Local candidates are accepted
Radius rule applies: 60 miles
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
Multiple time-off requests within the 13-week contract will be denied
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
