Description
Oncology Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Bel Air, Maryland
- 20-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty/lower acuity
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Oncology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification
Schedule Notes
- No scheduled on-call requirement; on-call may be needed if census and staffing require it
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Background check and state exclusion screening
- Employment verification for the previous 5 years
- Two supervisory/professional references
- Government-issued photo ID
- I-9 and E-Verify documentation
- Physical exam
- Fit test
- TB screening
- Drug screen
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu documentation
- Tdap documentation
- Confidentiality, dress code, badge, job description, and other facility-required onboarding documents
