ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Bel Air, Maryland
- Start date: 9/14/2026
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 hours: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Every 3rd weekend
- No on-call
- Floating required within specialty/acuity
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Clinical Focus
- ICU, stroke, renal failure/CRRT, MI/IABP, respiratory failure, pneumonia, Rotoprone, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, and surgical ICU
Work Environment
- EPIC charting
- Ceiling lifts and emergency carts, including central line, universal critical airway, chest tube, temp pacer, bronch, chemo, CRRT, and malignant hyperthermia carts
Pre-Start Requirements
- Background check and state/federal exclusion screening
- Physical exam
- Fit test
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/documentation
- Tdap documentation
- Confidentiality, job description, badge, OSHA, and other facility onboarding documents
- Photo for badge
- Color blindness testing
- Competency and age-specific competency exams
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam
- EKG education module and attestation
- References and work history verification
