Description
Medical Surgical RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Easton, Maryland
- Adult to geriatric med/surg orthopedic/joint unit
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 16 weeks
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
- On-call not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maryland RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 1 year of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Orthopedics experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- CPI
- NIH Stroke Certification
Experience Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
Additional Hiring Requirements
- Two supervisory references
- Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
- Background check and state exclusion screening
- Drug screening
- Physical exam and fit testing
- Immunization and vaccine documentation
- Facility orientation and required onboarding documents
