Respiratory Therapist

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of RRT experience
  • Active Michigan license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • American Heart Association ACLS
  • American Heart Association PALS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Required Documents

  • Work history
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to Respiratory Therapy
  • 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years

Job Details

  • Provides respiratory care, including protocol evaluations
  • Administers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
  • Responds to rapid responses, arrest, and STAT situations
  • Maintains artificial airways, respiration, cardiac compressions, and oxygen systems

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not considered
  • Previous travel work experience is preferred
