Job Overview

  • Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic
  • Employment type: Travel/contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, 5x8s, 8:30am–5:00pm
  • Weekly hours: 40

Role Highlights

  • Primary focus is screening mammography
  • Diagnostic mammography may be performed as the schedule allows
  • Expected daily volume is 20 screening mammograms per day
  • Typical daily caseload is 55
  • Floating within scope is required, including to facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Mammography Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ARRT (M)
  • SCRQSA (M)

Work Expectations

  • No weekends
  • No on-call
  • Must be willing to adjust work hours if overtime is involved
  • First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Notes

  • Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at submission
  • Facility does not allow call-outs
  • Unit orientation is completed at the work site
  • Scrub color: any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom
