Occupational Therapist
Location
- Moses Lake, Washington

Role summary
- Provides occupational therapy services to outpatient patients, including assessment, treatment, care, and patient/family education.
- Includes responsibility for an elbow/wrist/hand program with mentorship available from an experienced provider.
Required qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.
- Advanced degree or training.
- One year of outpatient care experience.
- Hand therapy and splinting experience.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain patient medical and social history and current status information.
- Evaluate patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and adjust treatment as needed.
- Document care in the electronic medical record.
- Complete daily billing procedures.
- Provide direction to support staff.
- Monitor patient care equipment and the work environment.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to perform occasional standing, walking, lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, crouching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to handle heavy physical work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity, mobility, good reading eyesight, visual acuity, and strong communication skills.
