RN - Endoscopy Center

Location

Champaign, Illinois

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
36 hours per week
4 shifts per week
Rotating start times between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM
Rotating day off

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
Endoscopy experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Responsibilities

Provide care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures through prep, intra-procedure, and recovery phases
Administer moderate sedation under physician direction
Start IVs, complete assessments, review health history, and provide patient education
Monitor and sedate patients during procedures
Care for patients in phase 1 and phase 2 recovery
Assist the CRNA during cases requiring anesthesia involvement
Float between the Endoscopy Center and Digestive Health Department
