Rehabilitation Therapy Job
Location
- Pahala, Hawaii
Contract
- 26 weeks
Schedule
- Days, Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
- Occupational Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Red Cross
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Experience in an acute care setting
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician
- Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly
- Independently manage a full caseload
- Determine when re-evaluations are needed based on insurance authorization
- Provide coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations
- Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer
- Hawaii license must be obtained by the start of the assignment
