Description
Operating Room RN Travel Contract
Location
- Huntington, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- Shift times: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend
- No call
Role Details
- Operating room nurse
- Scrub preferred
- Circulate required
- Must be able to function across multiple service areas, including trauma, CVT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cataracts, and ENT
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- 1 year of Operating Room experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Compliance / Health Requirements
- Background check required
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start and updated annually
- TB screening required
- Physical exam required and updated annually
- Seasonal flu vaccination required, with approved medical or religious exemptions only
- COVID-19 seasonal vaccine required; declination form required if opting out
- Tdap required within 10 years
- Hepatitis B documentation required
- Hepatitis A and Hepatitis C documentation required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
