Occupational Therapy Acute Care Hospital
Job Overview
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- Location: O Fallon, Missouri
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Setting: Short-term acute care hospital
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8 days, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Contract Length: 12 weeks
Schedule & Work Expectations
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Weekend coverage is every 6th full weekend
- On-call is not required
- Floating between nearby facilities may be required
- Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
- No more than 7 days of requested time off
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
- Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Adult Care experience
- Adaptive Equipment experience
- Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement experience
- Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement experience
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience preferred
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Pending state license is accepted
- Scrub color: black top or scrub top with tan pants or scrub pants
