LTC/SNF Registered Nurse

Location

Canistota, South Dakota

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holidays as scheduled within the contract block
Work week runs Sunday through Saturday

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
Experience in geri psych or LTC psych preferred

Patient Population / Setting

Long-term care / skilled nursing facility
Geriatric LTC psych setting
Serves an elderly population, including patients with dementia and some behavioral health diagnoses

Additional Job Details

55 beds
Staffing includes a med aide on days and one nurse overnight
Orientation includes training, tour, competencies, and shadowing 1–2 shifts
No on-call or call-back available
Local placements are limited to 80 miles
Housing is available at additional cost
