Role Summary
- Provides direct and individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Coordinates with the care team on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Administers medications and monitors for adverse reactions
- Records patient information, vital signs, and care documentation
- Assists with procedures, wound care, IV starts, catheter insertion, and patient education
- Responds to life-saving situations and participates in discharge planning
