Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview
- Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours per week: 40
- Call: 2 nights weekly unless on the weekend
- Weekend rotation: Every third weekend
- First-time travelers: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- State license verification
- National certification verification
- 2 professional references within 3 years of start
Screening / Compliance
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Connecticut state exclusion list check
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption
- Photo for badge
- Facility-required modules before first day
Additional Notes
- Medication and competency testing may be required, depending on profession/specialty
- HealthStream modules are assigned before start and must be completed prior to the first day
