Role Summary
- Operates stationary radiographic equipment in a Heart and Vascular Center to produce diagnostic images.
- Performs X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
- Works independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Requires strong patient care and customer satisfaction skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Special Procedures Technologist license in Iowa.
- Special Procedures Technologist experience within the last year.
- 2 years of Special Procedures Technologist experience.
- Cath Lab Technologist experience.
- Experience with Epic.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Driver's License.
Onboarding / Compliance Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination accepted.
- MMR documentation: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted.
- Fit test completed before start.
- Hepatitis B documentation: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted.
- Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted.
- TB test with proof of a negative test completed in the past 2 years, or prior positive TB documentation with required follow-up.
- Health statement from a physician within the last 12 months.
- Varicella documentation: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted.
- Tdap valid for 10 years from administration date.
- Background check within 30 days of start.
- Iowa adult and child abuse requirement.
- Education verification through a third party.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG screening within 30 days of start.
- Drug screen within 30 days of start.
- Skills checklist completed within 12 months.
- SING screening within 30 days of start.
- I-9 attestation.
- Color vision test completed within 1 year.
- Contract employee data sheet.
- NSO screening within 30 days of start.
- OFAC screening within 30 days of start.
- Evergreen link completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
- Pre-orientation CBL acknowledgement.
- Epic registration acknowledgement form.
- License/certificate verification.
- 2 professional references, including 1 supervisor reference.
- Resume or profile.
