Description
Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist
Location
- Johnson City, New York
Schedule
- Day shift
- 4x10-hour shifts
- 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- On call every other weekend
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New York
- Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or HSI or American Red Cross
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology
- IR experience
- Neurointerventional experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional and neurointerventional procedures under physician direction
- Provide technical and clinical assistance during sterile and non-sterile neurointerventional procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and protocols
- Follow radiation safety and other safety standards
- Instruct students and residents when needed
- Perform equipment quality assurance checks
- Help maintain supply inventory for IR and neuro IR procedures
- Review coding procedures for accurate billing
- Maintain patient and hospital confidentiality
- Follow hospital policies and incident reporting procedures
