Description
Outpatient Clinic
Role Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in an outpatient neurology clinic in Olympia, Washington.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Floating may be required within skillset to meet facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Clinic experience within the last year.
- 6 months of clinic experience.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage patient calls and MyChart messages.
- Manage nurse inboxes, work queues, medication refill requests, lab and imaging orders, and results.
- Support neurology patients, including infusion-related coordination.
- Document voicemail messages, process clinical faxes, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Work Environment
- Outpatient neurology practice.
- Uses Epic for charting and clinical workflow.
Additional Notes
- Weekend and on-call coverage are not required.
- Interview availability must be provided with submission.
- No-call/no-show may disqualify the candidate from future positions across the health system.
