Description
Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Covington, Georgia
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 12-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend
- No call
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Locals accepted
Unit / Role Overview
- Must be able to work in all critical care areas, including NICU, adult ICU, ED, and basic floor therapy
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Compliance / Start Requirements
- Full compliance required before start
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification required
- Photo ID required
- Physical exam required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required
- TB questionnaire required
- Drug screen required
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- References required
- Skills checklist required
- Work history verification required
Scheduling Expectations
- If one major holiday falls during the assignment, it must be worked
- If two major holidays fall during the assignment, both must be worked
- If three major holidays fall during the assignment, two must be worked
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Clinical review is required before final manager decision
- RTO maximum: 7 days
