Description
Respiratory Therapist – NICU
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Avon, Indiana
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Schedule Requirements
- Holiday coverage required
- Every other weekend required
- Must work 2 of 3 holidays, as determined by leadership
Work Setting
- Rotates across Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med Surg, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and NICU
- May assist with pediatric care in the emergency department
- Floats between high-risk deliveries, NICU II, adult acute care, and ER based on need and skill set
Additional Notes
- Best fit is an adult traveler with Labor & Delivery experience
- Not a home-based position
